  • Minor: Political Communication
  • Contact: marcumwa@dukes.jmu.edu

Wesley Marcum is currently a junior at James Madison University. He enjoys learning about advertising as an industry and a discipline,  and has a driving passion for multimedia storytelling. While he is proficient in many of the tools used to tell stories today (photography, videography and the Adobe suite of programs) he is more interested in the why’s and how’s of modern storytelling. Why do we choose certain media over others? How do we craft compelling narratives? Most importantly, how do we get our message across and stay on top of communication trends? Wesley hopes to illuminate these questions in this blog and in the rest of his career.
